CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

This Cancellation and Refund Policy ('Policy') governs the refund by Tranquil Library Private Limited ('Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our') to you for any reservations made on our website www.tranity.in (the 'Site'), the mobile application Tranity (the 'App'), collectively referred to as the 'Platform'.

We value your trust and satisfaction and we want you to have a great experience with our services and facilities. Therefore, we have created this Cancellation and Refund Policy ('Policy') to ensure transparency and inform you about your rights and obligations regarding the reservation cancellations and refunds.

Please read this Policy carefully before making any reservations on the Platform. By making a reservation on the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not make any reservations on the Platform.

1. TRIAL PERIOD

We offer a trial period of two (2) days from the time of your initial reservation ('Trial Period'). During this Trial Period, you may cancel your reservation and request a refund, subject to the terms and conditions of this Policy.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND

You are eligible for a refund only if you meet the following criteria:

  • You cancel your reservation within the Trial Period of the first month or period of the reservation.

  • You have not violated any of the terms and conditions of the Platform or the Company.

  • You have not made a reservation with a promotional offer.

  • You have not used or claimed any of the Add-ons or benefits or perks that are part of your reservation. If you do so, you will forfeit your right to a refund.

If you meet the above criteria, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid by you for the reservation, excluding any taxes, refund processing fee, or charges that are non-refundable.

3. NO PARTIAL REFUNDS

We do not offer partial refunds. If you cancel your reservation within the Trial Period, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid by you for the reservation, minus the refund processing fee as per the eligibility criteria. Cancellations after the Trial Period are not eligible for a refund, regardless of the reason. 

4. NO REFUND FOR EXTENDED RESERVATIONS

If you extend your reservation for another month or for subsequent months, you will not be eligible for a refund, irrespective of when you cancel. This is because we reserve the space and resources for you based on your reservation and we incur costs and expenses for the same. Therefore, we request you to make your reservations carefully and only for the duration that you need.

5. NO REFUND AFTER TRIAL PERIOD

After the expiration of the Trial Period, you will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances, unless otherwise required by law. This is because we provide you with a reasonable opportunity to try our services and facilities during the Trial Period and we expect you to make an informed decision before continuing with your reservation.

6. REFUND PROCESS

Upon cancellation of your reservation within the Trial Period, a refund will be automatically initiated to your original mode of payment. The eligible refund amount will be credited to your account within seven (7) working days, depending on your bank or payment provider. If you do not receive your refund within this period, please contact our customer support team. We will assist you with the refund process.

7. REFUND PROCESSING FEE

A small processing fee will be deducted from the total refundable amount to cover the payment gateway costs associated with processing your refund. The fee amount depends on the refund amount as follows:

₹1001 - ₹25000 ₹11.99

₹25001 and above ₹14.99

8. CHANGES TO THIS REFUND POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Policy on the Platform. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Policy to ensure that you are aware of any changes. Continued use of the Platform after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
